How to Stay Classy
August 6, 2020

In America, we used to want to be considered classy. That has now disappeared in many places.

My parents taught me that when someone does me a kindness or gives me a gift, it’s classy to write them a thank you note.

The notes can be short – they don’t need to be long.

I have my own stationery, little cards with an Irish shamrock on them, for this exact purpose.

I write my letter, sign my name, put a stamp on it and send it in the mail. Not many people do this – but it’s certainly classy.

You might want to get yourself some cards and do what I do. People will find it classy.
